Eling Tide Mill 

There is a FlexiStep for wheelchairs/mobility scooters to access to the ground floor of the mill. However, the first and second floors are only accessible via stairs, therefore, some visitors may be unable to access all floors. With this in mind, we have live camera feeds of the upper floors, connected to a large screen on the ground floor, for visitors to see the rest of the mill and watch friends and family explore. This also includes further videos with subtitles of how the mill works and it's machinery.

 

In addition, we have a Hearing loop facility for those with compatible hearing devices.

Visitor Centre

The Visitor Centre, which includes the Mill Café, Discovery room and toilet facilities, are fully accessible.

Walks and Outdoor Areas

Our walks and outdoor picnic area are fully accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
